Countdown to Election Day

As we countdown to Election Day on November 4, we urge you to participate in activities to support Republican candidates up and down the ballot. There is much to do, and we need you involved. The following is a list of recommended activities to help make Election Day a success for the conservative cause:

WAVING TO WIN EVERY THURSDAY. We will be doing a Waving to Win every Thursday from 5 till 6:30 PM. This is a great opportunity to show public support for your favorite candidates and to have a lot of fun with like minded conservatives. Signs are provided. The following is the location schedule:

10/9 — Lumsden/Providence
10/16 — TBD
10/23 — Bloomingdale Library

SATURDAY MORNING WALKS. Every Saturday, from 9 AM till 1 PM, walkers will be canvassing neighborhoods in Eastern Hillsborough to help get out the Republican vote. An advanced polling method have been developed to identify swing voters that would would be open to the Republican message and need some gentle persuasion to come out and vote. Walking routes are designed to combine the campaigns of Dennis Ross, Ross Spano, Al Higginbotham, and all candidates running for state office. Breakfast and refreshments will be provided. Meet at Brandon Field Office, 1602 Oakfield Drive, Suite 207 in Brandon to participate. For more information, please contact MarDee Buchman at mardeerec@gmail.com, or call her at 813-657-6499.

POLL WATCHING. This is a huge need for the Rick Scott Campaign. Help the Governor's Campaign by volunteering to be a Poll Watcher. Early Polling places, and 32 Polling places on Election Day across Hillsborough County have needs for Poll Watchers. For more information and to volunteer, email MarDee Buchman at mardeerec@gmail.com or call her at 813-657-6499.

PHONE BANKING. Callers Wanted! Make calls for Governor Scott's Campaign from home with a suggested script. Again, please contact MarDee Buchman and she'll get you set up!

YARD SIGNS AND BUMPER STICKERS. Yard signs and bumper stickers are now available for most candidates. Please pick some up for friends and neighbors too. Please stop by the Brandon Field Office, 1602 Oakfield Drive, Suite 207 in Brandon to get them.

Of course, the candidates also need your time and financial assistance. We urge you to personally get involved the the candidate of your choice and help them win.

As a result of all that must be done as we count down to Election Day, the Alafia Republican Club will not be holding an October meeting. The idea we would like to impart is that now is a time not so much to meet, but a time to DO. Please plan to get active in some way to support the party in its efforts this election season. We need you involved!!!

AUG 15 - Movie Night at Beef's featuring "IndoctriNation"

On Friday August 15, we will be having a movie night at 7 PM at Beef O Brady’s at 4330 Bell Shoals Rd. We will be showing IndoctriNation, a film that exposes the government schools for their unconstitutional stand to remove God from said schools and to teach children anything but the truth about where they came from and why we learn. It is well done, serious and funny, and a must watch.

Colin Gunn and his family travel in a big yellow school bus across America shooting a new documentary film that explores the origins of the American education system, the effects of public schools on the Christian family, and the turning of the hearts of parents to their children through home education. www.indoctrinationmovie.com
