AUG 22 - 'Monumental' Movie Night at Beef's

We will be holding a special Movie Night at Beef's featuring the movie 'Monumental.' The movie will start at 7 PM on August 22 at Beef O Brady's, located at 4330 Bell Shoals Road, Valrico.

Monumental is the story of America’s beginnings. Presented, produced, and starring Kirk Cameron, the 90-minute true story follows him across Europe and the U.S. as he seeks to discover America’s true “national treasure” – the people, places, and principles that made America the freest, most prosperous and generous nation the world has ever known.

Long regarded as “the land of opportunity,” there’s no question the tiny band of religious outcasts who founded this country hit upon a formula for success that went way beyond what they could have imagined. How else can you explain the fact that they established a nation that has become the best example of civil, economic and religious liberty the world has ever known?

What formula did they discover? What motivated them to come here in the first place? More importantly, how can we apply these same foundational truths today? You can watch the movie trailer here.

Monumental is heralded as “inspiring,” “beautifully executed,” “powerful,” and “one meant to teach.” And as a matter of fact, a follow-on 12-week 'Monumental' study will begin at 7 PM on August 26 in the Education Annex at Bell Shoals Baptist Church. We hope you will be able to join us for the study too. All are invited.

Questions, please call Jeff Lukens at 813 404 5940.

MAR 12 -- Restoring America as the Land of Liberty

America has undergone a radical shift in recent times, from an exceptional nation – the most free, prosperous, and virtuous in history – to a nation in decline. The good news is that we can do something to solve these problems and restore America. We can follow the blueprint that the Founders of the nation gave us to build a free nation. Stephen McDowell, President of the Providence Foundation’s Biblical Worldview University,  will summarize the blueprint for restoring America as the land of liberty as presented in Monumental: Restoring America as the Land of Liberty, a study course by Kirk Cameron and Stephen McDowell produced as a follow up to the award winning film Monumental. This event is open to the public, and is sure to be a rewarding evening for all freedom living patriots.

This event will be held in Brandon at Bell Shoals Baptist Church's Special Events Center (SEC) March 12 at 7 pm.

As a result of all that must be done as we count down to Election Day, the Alafia Republican Club will not be holding an October meeting.
