I want to thank Eddie Hall and Michael Tamney for a well fought and respectful campaign that dealt with the issues. If I am elected Lakeland Commissioner I hope to work with both of you to improve Lakeland.

Thanks to everyone that participated in this election. It is an important election that continues until the December 3rd runoff election day. I have never been here before so I am asking several people that have experience in Lakeland runoff elections to help me formulate a plan that will lead to me being elected Lakeland's next City Commissioner. More to come on this topic.

The mayoral candidates will be invited. They will have 5 minutes each to explain what they would do differently than their opponent. Then 5 minutes each to explain the major non-police issue(s) that the Lakeland faces and what they would do about it. They will be asked to give very specific answers.
The at Lakeland City Commissioners at Large Candidates will have a 3 minute intro time, 12 minutes16
Then 3 questions from Mr. Childs, with 2 minute answer time 24 minutes
And then 2 questions from the audience, with 2 minute answer time 16 minutes
Then two minute closing statement 8 minutes

NAWBO Political Forum

Lakeland Metro chapter of NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) and the Lakeland downtown chapter of ABWA (American Business Women's Association) political forum.
The Political Forum will be held Wed., Oct. 16 beginning at 11:30 a.m. and running until 1:00 p.m. at the Imperial Swan Hotel on S. Fla. Ave. The event begins at 11:30 a.m. with a buffet lunch and then the forum itself begins roughly at noon. We would love for you to be our guest for lunch. You are welcome to bring campaign materials for distribution. If you are unable to attend but wish to send a representative in your place, you may do so, although obviously we feel it would be much better for everyone if you could attend the event yourself.
